Summary

DevToolbox does not collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into the tools. All processing runs in your browser. We use Google Analytics for anonymous page view statistics only. We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or personalization.

Data you enter into tools

All data entered into DevToolbox tools (JSON, JWT tokens, passwords, regex patterns, text, code, images, etc.) is processed entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. This data is never sent to our servers, any third-party servers, or stored in any database. When you close the browser tab, the data is gone.

Local storage

DevToolbox uses your browser's localStorage to remember your recently used tools. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage statistics such as page views, browser type, country, and referring URLs. This helps us understand which tools are most popular and improve the product. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Cookies

DevToolbox itself does not set any cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies for anonymous analytics purposes. No cookies are used for advertising, tracking across websites, or personalization.

Third-party services

The only third-party service used is Google Analytics for anonymous page view statistics. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, social media widgets, or any other third-party services that could access your data.

CDN resources

DevToolbox loads Tailwind CSS and Alpine.js from CDN (Content Delivery Network) servers. These are standard open-source libraries. The CDN provider may log IP addresses as part of their standard operations, which is outside our control.

Children

DevToolbox is a developer utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
